The lights are on
Warner Bros. today announced the Game of the Year edition for Batman Arkham City. Too bad the game's box art is an awful mess.
I'm going to let the picture below do most of the talking, but there's a few things worth pointing out. At a glance you'd think the name of this game is "10 out of 10," but that's our review score. Also, the title is actually one of the smallest things on the cover (it's on the right-hand side).
Even better, it uses a review quote from GamePro, but that magazine no longer exists!
Sometimes, less is more.
Speaking as a print design student, it's far too cluttered. The top 3 things I'd remove are the Gamepro, G4TV, and Metacritic quotes. They are all redundant (MetaCritic with the fact this is the "Game of the Year" edition). I would also personally do some tidying so the Batman and Arkham City are a tad bit larger as to not immediately draw the consumers attention to the "10 out of 10" at the top.
IMO, this is just too messy.
Game Of The Year Edition Part 10?!?! I love that game!!
Oh boy, I can't wait to play 10 out of 10 featuring Batman
Why is it yelling at us?
Reversible cover art might be a good idea here.
And thats when I go to my local video rental store, and switch this box art out for one of the original ones. :o
Wow that's atrocious
I personaly think that the collectors batman statue was awesome who cares about the box art
I like it just fine. And seriously, the art is so great, you don't need a title. Morons will be confused, but they are always confused? So f morons.
My eyes! MY EYES!
I honestly thought that this was a cover for an up and coming video game magazine that was trying just a little to hard.
"1) out )f 10"

The box art should be all black with batman logo in the middle.....enough said.... The logo sells its self and and maybe adding game of the year edition would be good in dark gray letters.
Wow, that looks terrible!
Should of just had GI do it.
Looks like a GameStop flyer rather than box art.
Shame to ruin all that great artwork with all that text.
