Activision has confirmed the date for when it will unveil its newest Call of Duty title. The publisher updated the official website for the game saying the world reveal will air on May 1 during the NBA playoffs on TNT.

This year's Call of Duty is rumored to be a sequel to the highly successful Black Ops title released in 2010. A forum member on NeoGAF discovered the Black Ops trademark is included the website's source code, lending credence that this new game is indeed a sequel.

I'm looking forward to it! I skipped MW3 but I might be getting this one if it looks fun.

Hopefully they add some new innovations because it is seems the series is getting a little repetitive.

I'm sort of glad they release a COD every year. It makes other developers really push the quality of their own game so it stands out during the mayhem of releases in the fall.

This needs to be a major improvement, especially with Treyarch and Black Ops, I hated Black Ops.

According to the comments posted I'm in the minority, but Treyarchs' Cod games are better than the MW's to me... I may always end up trading them back in, but at the very least they're a fun diversion for a few days till the epic releases hit...

cool may check it out even though cods is stale now if it's treyarch i'll try it out cause i'll be honest and disagree if you like atleast treyarch tries new things.
