It looks like Sony has registered the domain name www.playstationallstarsbattleroyale.com, according to PlayStationLifeStyle.net lending even more believability to a Super Smash Bros. type fighting game featuring Sony's mascot elite.

Sony's rumored Super Smash Bros. style fighter may have a new name.
According to a survey acquired by the website PlayStation LifeStyle, one of the name's being considered for the still-unannounced game is "PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale."
When rumors of the project first surfaced last year, the name "Title Fight" was also being thrown around. The game will supposedly include a number of PlayStation characters such as Sweet Tooth from Twisted Metal and Kratos from God of War.
Developer SuperBot Entertainment has been linked to the project. So far, Sony has not commented on the rumors.

I'm a huge playstation fan, and I love the idea of this, but they're doing this all wrong IMO. First off, they shouldn't be doing this with an indie developer. This game needs to be a big budget game with all the bells and whistles. Second, this game needs to go cross platform so it can get 3rd party characters. Playstation has a lot of great characters and all, but I don't want to play a game with a few playstation A level characters and a bunch of playstation B level characters that I barely remember. If they go cross platform, then they can get some characters from different game universes easier and have exclusive characters for both consoles much like soul caliber did.

That title is a mouth full, but I like the name "Battle Royal". Either way, this game is something that I'll look forward to.

wow. but besides kratos and sweet tooth, who else would they get? Nathan Drake? well, whoever they get, i certainly hope Ratchet and/or Clank are there.
