Call Of Duty Reveal May 1

Activision has confirmed the date for when it will unveil its newest Call of Duty title. The publisher updated the official website for the game saying the world reveal will air on May 1 during the NBA playoffs on TNT.

This year's Call of Duty is rumored to be a sequel to the highly successful Black Ops title released in 2010. A forum member on NeoGAF discovered the Black Ops trademark is included the website's source code, lending credence that this new game is indeed a sequel.

  • great,COD has to ruin my basketball games too. and u know what, i dont care, cuz activision are money whores.

  • Keep posting that you don't like/ don't care about CoD everywhere guys. YOU'RE HELPING ADVERTISE THE GAME FOR THEM! LOLOLOLOL

  • if its a follow-up to Black Ops, then I might pony up; get it! If not, then I will end my love affair with COD, anyone agree or disagree?
  • I've tried really hard, but I just can't seem to find any f***s to give. Sorry CoD.
  • I hope Black Ops 2 with the same characters!

  • THE ONLY THING BETTER THEN BLACK OPS IS BLACK OPS 2!!!

    *sarcasm

  • COD is like the Lady Gaga of the industry. Until it does something totally new. Something other than MW or Black Ops something with a new engine, new story, new weapons, new style new everything...I ain't buyin'. MW3 is enough for me now.
  • Personnaly I wasn't a big fan of Black Ops. I felt like the online wasn't as fun as in Modern Warfare 2 kinda because of the the problem with quick scoping and the overall feel just wasn't as good.
  • i hope they have zombies!!!!

  • lets hope they just skip to 3 and get it done

  • The only savior of treyarch is the zombie mode, the only thing they have done right, but not perfected
  • Call of Duty: Same Old Bulls**t
  • Am i the only one who wants to see this game!
  • It's a strange thing. Everyone that clicks on these COD stories and posts comments almost always have something negative to say. "Who cares", etc., etc., etc. But every November when a COD title releases it sells crazy fast, breaks all sorts of records, and becomes the single most crowded console multiplayer. So what gives? Why is it that on the internet you find nothing but negativity and hatred for the game, but come November, every single person in the world is playing it? Clearly the internet crowd is either completely disconnected from the real world, or there is some sort of nation of trolls amassing. I for one will be tuning in May 1st, because the Treyarch games are the ones I look forward to the most. Infinity Ward may have started the ball rolling but Treyarch has taken the reigns.
  • I'm actually excited...kinda...sorta. I hope there's actually some new awesome stuff that hasn't been in any CoD yet. And I want the ability to make your own emblems again! That was fun
  • what's got Billy so spooked?

  • Love Black Ops 2  Call Of Duty see New kind. Happen Story love want trophies like see Zombies new add map.

  • A letter to all CoD hating trolls: 1. You say CoD is the exact same thing year in and year out, yet they now have Treyarch, Infinity Wrd, and Raven Software making games for only one series if it were the exact same thing nobody would buy it, yet it is still the number one selling game over Halo and yes Battlefield 2. If you hate it so much why the hell are looking up stuff on it. If you're just going to be an assmunch on your God forsaken comments don't write them. PS. Thank you Game Informer can't wait.
  • never thought id say this but i hope its a WWII shooter complete with a D-day invasion stage
  • **BRAAAHHHH**, COD has to come in and ruin my basketball games too! and activision are money whores.

edit:why is D@mmit replaced with BRAAAHHH?
