Call Of Duty Reveal May 1

Activision has confirmed the date for when it will unveil its newest Call of Duty title. The publisher updated the official website for the game saying the world reveal will air on May 1 during the NBA playoffs on TNT.

This year's Call of Duty is rumored to be a sequel to the highly successful Black Ops title released in 2010. A forum member on NeoGAF discovered the Black Ops trademark is included the website's source code, lending credence that this new game is indeed a sequel.

  • Good, now I know what day I'm not giving a ****.
  • Um who cares?
  • TUNE IN TO FIND OUT WHAT GAME YOU ALREADY KNEW WAS COMING OUT.
  • Could've sworn the sign said "BF3 DLC release date"... Must have taken a wrong turn back there.
  • Well, here it goes again...
  • Obviously Black Ops 2..
  • I don't care! :D
  • This is like a bad soap opera.
  • who cares nothing new to the world same old thing
  • I understand almost no one here likes CoD, but do all the comments have to be about how you don't care? If you don't care about CoD why are you reading an article about it just to talk bad about it. I'm actually pretty excited to learn more.
  • At this point I think they should dial it back and make a game from the musket era. Anything would be better than another stale entry in a series that is in "Zombie Mode". It is dead for all intents and purposes but yet it keeps going. At least MW3 sales are down from BLOPs. That gives me hope people will stop slurping up this crap every year.
  • If it looks as garbage as the last one, then there is no way im buying that trash again.
  • Attention: This is an announcement to let you all know that there will be an announcement. More on this story later.
  • Cant wait for the basketball playoffs,go Nuggets! Oh and call of duty.

  • Honestly, I don't understand all the hate towards COD. It helps sell the consoles we all love to play on and it helps keep mobile gaming in its place. So, you might not like it, but maybe you should be thankful we have it to keep console gaming thriving.

EDIT: Software sells hardware, that is plain and simple logic. Call of Duty titles outsell any other game, by a longshot. I am not saying that is a good thing, nor is it anywhere near my favorite title. Is it really that hard to understand that a top selling game would help sell consoles? No, it isn't.
  • Two bad news in one day, 1 founded out my girlfriend cheated on me and now a new Call of Duty, Worst day ever -.-
  • I hope they improved zombies mode or even added it again cause I heard its gonnabe black ops 2

  • I hope it isn't the same!

    >inb4 it's brown and bloom
  • Shocker :D
  • call of duty: more of the same.
