Everyone Can Play Diablo III This Weekend

Blizzard announced this weekend it will hold an open beta for Diablo III. Anyone with a valid Battle.net account can try it out! "Beginning this Friday everyone is invited to log in and help us put the game and servers through their paces in this three day stress test as we march toward the game's release on May 15," Blizzard said.

Head here to begin downloading the Diablo III beta client. 

From Friday, April 20 at 12:01 p.m. PDT (noon), until Monday, April 23 at 10:00 a.m. PDT you'll be able to log in, team up with friends, and play each of the five heroic classes to level 13 as you fight to save the world from the impending demonic invasion.

    I am openly excited about this...been a fan since i played the first...

    I love open betas yet I feel that it, to some extent, "spoils" the surprise of the game. But yes, I know, "how are we supposed to know if games are any good?" I really don't know but I wish we had a more "lucrative" way of doing so while still keeping the "surprise" the game has to offer.

    since im on the east coast it doesn't start til 3. which suck's cuz I work 3 to 10. but maybe that will give them enough time to fix the server's if they crash right out of the gate. ;) Im sure the server's are gonna be lagging.
