The lights are on
Global sales for developer Splash Damage's online-focused shooter Brink has reportedly sold over 2 million copies to date.
The sales figure comes from a recent Gamasutra interview with CEO Paul Wedgwood who said the game was successful for the company.
"With Splash Damage, we finished Brink, and it's estimated to have sold more than 2.5 million units worldwide, which at retail would mean that it's generated around $120-140 million in revenue," said Wedgwood.
Brink released last May and garnered mixed reviews. Game Informer editor Matt Bertz scored the game a 6.75 out of 10.

I don't see how this happened.
World: really ?
Definitely a good game, but it's one of those fan favorites. I've bought this game 3 times, the last time it was only 5 bucks and I still have it and play it often.
I have to agree with K1llnYou, this game was grossly overhyped. I honestly couldn't see that happening. After the first five glitches and freezes (not necessarily in that order) I gave this game up as a bad job. But I am glad Splash Damage was able to make some $$$ off this title.
this game had potential, and it did not live up to it. All it was A to B missions.
I absolutely hated this game. I ignored the bad reviews and was still excited for the game, me and my friend bought it for 5 bucks at Gamestop and returned it a day later. We hated it so much, but with this news that means maybe a sequel will be made. I still feel the game had tons of potential.
Wasn't a figure in those statistics.
I loved it I thought it was great
Bought it pre-owned hated it so much returned the next day
how many were returned? i never seen a game returned en masse like this after a week of sales and the pre-owned dont sell lol...
It was ok...
Thats impressive since I never met anyone that liked the game. lol
the solo party looks like ***, wtf Splash Damage???
Whenever a crappy game sells more copies than Okami did I die a little on the inside
How much of that was pre=order? And, how many copies were sold right back?
