The lights are on
EA's holiday shooter from last year is making its way to PlayStation Network as a full-game download next week. The following games will be available for purchase on Tuesday, April 24 on PSN:
- Battlefield 3 (Electronic Arts)
- Grease Dance (505 Games)
- The Cursed Crusade (Atlus)
- Bejeweled 3 (Pop Cap Games)
- Darkstalkers 3 (Capcom)
- Future Cop LAPD (Electronic Arts)
The details were revealed on Sony's PlayStation Blogcast. You can listen to the latest episode here.
Talk about a long download
Really, for any of these games, I'd have bought physical copies if I actually wanted them.
I should do it like Killzone 3, release the multiplayer part of the game only. I don't care about the single player, I just want to play online.
That will be one helluva download!
I can't wait for this to come out. When I download this, I will school some scrub nasty noob losers. I haven't played this before at all, but I will succeed at the first time.
Darkstalkers!? This should've been the headliner. Well, I say that because I already own Battlefield 3. But Darkstalkers is the desired gem in that pile.
if this was the multiplayer only, id get this. the story line just wasnt as appealing as i expected to be. online play is a lot better with squads. hopefully they've fixed a bunch of the bugs in the multiplayer. i know that dice puts a lot of time and effort into fixing the bugs and improving gameplay.
Here's hoping it won't be $60 forever. My strategy with this kind of thing is sell my copy to a "friend" (just a pawn I entertain for this scheme) for around $40 then buy the downloadable version for the same price. I lose nothing and gain some shelf space.
For a second I was like
"LOL!? What have they been playing then if Battlefield hasn't released yet!?"
OooOOoOOO Darkstalkers
I wonder if any will be free for PS+.
I got it for PC, more players for PC
