There Is A Ron Paul Video Game In The Works

Indie developer D.S. Williams is hard at work creating The Road to REVOLution, the Ron Paul video game.

This may be the first game created to help promote the presidential aspirations of a potential candidate. There are 50 Levels based around the 50 states and 13 bosses representing the 13 branches of the Federal Reserve, among many other secrets and easter eggs, according to Williams.

The game is already coming along, and the Kickstarter page set up to fund the game has already reached its goal. You should be able to play the full game, which will be a free browser game, soon.

  • lol @ a politics game.

    You want a better USA?

    -Abolish lobbyism
    -Abolish special interest groups
-Rebuke the "Corporations are People too" B.S. (because... they're not)
-Allow the votes from U.S. citizens to matter over the "money votes" (money can't be votes. It's money.)
-Allow the ppl to fire govt. officials who get nothing done and only filibuster (why cant we? We hired 'em)
-Acknowledge that the 2 party system is ridiculous, and doesn't make sense.
-Acknowledge that the Federal Reserve (which is actually a private entity) is HIGHER up on the totem pole than our government.

I'm not sure voting ANY president into power will change any of these things, because they will A) assimilate, or B) become conveniently distracted, away from those groups who don't want attention.

    happy voting :)
  • i have no words for this... this is so *** stupid. these paul bots are ridiculous.

  • (sweatdrop)

  • Ah yes the gynecologist who thinks he knows economics.
  • Sigh, politics in video games...*puts on headphones* yep...just move on ...nothing to see here. *plays metal wolf chaos*
  • Why does this game "need to exist"? It looks like garbage.

  • I think anyone who votes Romney has received a free sandwich..

Since Romney was caught giving out free sandwichs to anyone who would vote for him.

Ron Paul 2012 or Violent Revolution 2013

  • Yea, one of the very few games I can say I have no interest in whatsoever..

  • what a suck fest

  • Wow, a pro-Republican game? The internet is usually FULL of liberal propaganda trying to stifle Republican views!
  • Em...I'm a Conservative, and a registered Republican, and this seems a little creepy even to me.  I respect the guy's motivations, but I don't see this having much of a positive effect.  I guess, if nothing else, he's up front about the purpose for the game.  That puts it way ahead of the subtle, backhanded propaganda seen in so much of the media today.

  • Keep politics out of gaming!

  • not sure how i feel about this

  • Well, seeing as how big media doesn't want anything to do with him he has to get his word out somehow.

  • I just spit Mountain dew onto my monitor!

  • I hope President Obama is the final boss of the game I would so love to destroy him.

  • I would rather see a game about diarrhea!Oh well to each his own I guess.
  • Oh man. Politics and games shouldn't mix at all!!
  • This will be bad... meaning I will have something to laugh about haha!

  • Game isn't that cool, but his approach to development and support tis truly a great thing, more indie game developers start spreading the buzz like this and more great things to come
