The lights are on
A new patent from Sony earlier this month has surfaced, showing off a bizarrely-shaped controller with the Move wand attached.
The controller peripheral allows users to change the positioning of the side handles. This is of course not official yet. Companies patent things all the time and never actually use them. Also, the design of this controller, if made, would likely look different that the diagram shown here.
What do you think? Is this something you'd pick up and use?

Is that a giant batarang?
Why even bother with the Move Wand if it's going to held (sort of) like a traditional controller?
looks quite phallic to me
Seems like it work like a more functional "WiiWheel" that came with mario kart Wii and less expensive and more functional normal wheel controller.
OH DEAR EVER LOVING SKY DWELLING SPAGHETTI MONSTER DIETY!!!! WHY OH WHY am I having a
VIRTUAL BOY
flashback!
?{=O@)
maybe theyr going to reboot bop-it?
I'll be fine with my dualshock...
Didn't they figure out from the Six-axis that no one likes using both motion and traditional controls in the same controller outside of racing and flying games?
Looks like some sort of airship or something. When your PS3's turned off you could pretend you Luke blowing up the Death Star.
umm... how about not
Just needs a place to put the Vita, and you'll have a $350 Wii U controller :D
My dualshock is just fine thank you.
If you could tell me WTH it does, I could tell you if I'd use it!
Well. By the movement of the handles it seems like it would turn into a shield or something like that. Since the movement of the handles really doesn't do anything I think it is just supposed to make things more comfortable. I am guessing bow and arrow that could be multi-used as motorcycle/fighter/sword/shield handle.
this is worse than old school xbox controller. But on top of that building a controller that's designed to incorporate an external peripheral sounds like a company trying to take advantage of gamers unless out of the goodness of their heart they decide to include the move peripheral at no extra charge, but I don't see that happening.
This really doesnt make any sense, what exactly can you do with something like that in your hand? It would get old quick and would be useless.
Arrg! I HATE this controller! It's the worst! It obviously sucks! It's dumb! Worst controller eva! Hell to the NO! **** this controller! If this is made I will **** myself! Humanity is going down-hill after this point! So fake and ghey! I will **** whoever thought of this ****ing controller ****! Peice of ****, dumb idea!
