The lights are on
Vicarious Visions was developing a prototype for a new strategy game in the Call of Duty series. Too bad it's never coming out.
A video for the prototype was discovered recently on animator Steve Nelson's online portfolio. The gameplay is reminiscent of the classic SEGA Genesis title General Chaos.

So that why all they do is repeat the same thing every year there outta creativity and this prototype was proof at least they tried

wow! a call of duty game that shows brass balls and innovation!? cancelled because strategy games sell less than generic FPS's? Awesome!
That stinks... i'm very tired of COD, this would have reinvigorated my interests.
I don't see the CoD crowd caring too much about this. Strategy gamers maybe, but certainly not the CoD crowd.
