Update: It was discovered on NeoGAF the file name for the teaser image on Sony's website is "ps_gow-teaser," suggesting heavily this is indeed a new God of War game being announced tomorrow.

Sony asks, "Will vengeance bring redemption?" Looks like we'll find out next week.

Sony published a teaser image on its Facebook page this morning revealing the date. This is likely related to God of War IV, however we can't rule out a potential Vita announcement, either.

What do you think it is? Tune in next Thursday for the announcement.

They should make GOW 4 for the Sony PLaystation 4 that would be a killer IP release for the new system in 2014... I can't wait

I hope it is IV, but most likley its a vita title. I bet IV is going to be a PS4 exclusive and will be probably a lounch title but we will have to find out. By the way after III what more can go on, you killed the gods so....? It also could be a red dead vita title probably not Metel Gear not quite the look of Metel Gear revengence, most likely a vita title any way so....

I could use another console God of War in my life. The step up from 1 to 2 was awe-inspiring, and I wouldn't doubt their ability to make the 3 to 4 leap just as great.

Why does everyone think this is a God Of War 4 announcement? This could easily be a Uncharted 4 announcement as well. How you ask? Simple, Flynn returns from the dead to seek vengeance on Nathan Drake by trying to kill his son or daughter he has with Elena :D. All jokes aside, this is awesome news but something everyone seen coming for a while now.

I'd love to see what they decide to do with God of War. As much as I'm a stickler for companies milking a franchise, I am such a sucker for the hate-fueled, vengeance steered, no brake Kratos.

I will be extremely disappointed if this is GOW4. The way 3 ended was truly epic and amazing! It was one of THE best endings to a game I've seen. I hope this is not 4. Perhaps something new I hope.
