The lights are on
It's been suspected that a delay might be coming for THQ's Darksiders II, and now it's official.
The game will now come out for Xbox 360, PC, and PS3 in August rather than June.
In a to-the-point FAQ, Vigil states that this is being done purely for polish reasons, dismissing the talk of layoffs, the Wii U version of the game that will appear at the console's launch, and more being factors in the decision.

I can wait a couple of month's.
Although this is sad, I'm glad they're taking the extra time to fix the bugs rather then release an unfinished product.

Good to see mid tier publishers starting to fill those summer months, instead of trying to share shelf space with a wave of big market FPS's and such. I actually wonder if Tomb Raider will stick to its Fall release plans.

This game is THQs future. If it sells good, THQ will stay open; however, if it flops, well THQ will go down with it.
