The lights are on
It's been suspected that a delay might be coming for THQ's Darksiders II, and now it's official.
The game will now come out for Xbox 360, PC, and PS3 in August rather than June.
In a to-the-point FAQ, Vigil states that this is being done purely for polish reasons, dismissing the talk of layoffs, the Wii U version of the game that will appear at the console's launch, and more being factors in the decision.

It better be good if they're making us wait for LONGER.
Son of a *****!!!
A lot of us saw this coming, and with what Vigil has been working at to expand the game, RPG skill progression & a large world while still trying to advance the combat & platforming, I think the extra time might do them some good to make most of the elements very polished. August seems like a fair month, currently there's not much grasping for attention then for Darksiders to get lost in, just as long as it doesn't slip farther than that.
Well at least now I have all summer to buy and play the first one.
Is it just me or does the lead character look alot like Skeletor from Masters of the universe?
eh it's only a couple months
Nooooo
I'm glad they have decided to dedicate extra time to polishing. Those final details are extremely important...plus now I'll have some extra time to pummel the hellish hordes of Sanctuary.
As long as it's still a Wii U launch title, then I'm happy.
