Update: It was discovered on NeoGAF the file name for the teaser image on Sony's website is "ps_gow-teaser," suggesting heavily this is indeed a new God of War game being announced tomorrow.

Sony asks, "Will vengeance bring redemption?" Looks like we'll find out next week.

Sony published a teaser image on its Facebook page this morning revealing the date. This is likely related to God of War IV, however we can't rule out a potential Vita announcement, either.

What do you think it is? Tune in next Thursday for the announcement.

we need new games with fresh stories and unprecedented multiplayers. instead of just making a game we probably expect why not come out with some thign we never seen before. i think they should make an mmorpg with x-men or transformers like one that isnt just point and click. why not bring out some new ideas?

Anyone who knows me knows that the God of War series is one of my favorite IP's of all time but how are they gonna make a game and call it "God of War IV"? I really wanna see how they are going to continue a sory where the main character killed everyone there is to possibly kill in Greek Mythology and even himself and Santa Monica better not jack it up.

Also saw an add on another site that says "Nothing will bring them back" when you click it, it brings you to the FB page that shows the redemption message, so I'm curious on if it is a God of War, is he trying to bring his family back or something?

How can they make a sequel to God of War? SPOILER: Kratos kills himself at the end of 3. I don't see how we can play as Kratos anymore. Then again, he was brought back from death 3 times in the series, so I guess they can do it again. Kratos was awesome, but I think it would b cool if we can play as a new character.
