South African Retailer Lists Dead Space 3 For Pre-Order

After the critical and financial success of the first two Dead Space games, a third one would not be a surprise. However, Electronic Arts and Visceral games have made no official announcement of a sequel.

South African retailer BT Games seems to think Dead Space 3 is coming though, and have a pre-order sku listed in its site. This is by no means an official announcement, as BT Games could just have the pre-order page in place just in case Electronic Arts makes an announcement. Or, maybe BT Games knows something we don't...

I'm pretty sure this was confirmed like a long time ago. I remember Siliconera had a story about screens of a new Dead Space where Isaac and his new lover crash on a snowy planet..

Scratch that, it wasn't screens, but it was details.

Either BT Games has some pretty accurate psychics on its payroll, or they have many people inside the production offices. GoW IV and DS 3, and I'm sure there are others, all have pre-order offers before the developers go public with the fact that they're even making said games. But my question is, what happens if it turns out the developers have no plans? Are the people who purchased the pre-orders reimbursed?

It's a given DS3 will be made at some point. But wasn't that news already leaked like 6 months or so ago? There was a Dead Space 3 poster up on the wall of an EA studio when someone was taking a tour of it. I don't remember which studio it was though but I remember seeing a video about it.

I don,t know what they waiting on but they got the horror games on lock down. The only thing they need to do to Dead space 3 is random the monster jump outs whenever you die or beat the game.
