The lights are on
Halo fans are eagerly awaiting the return of Master Chief and the inaugural effort by 343 Industries, and the wait is over this November.
Halo 4 for Xbox 360 will hit stores around the planet on November 6.
To celebrate today's announcement, you can see a special Halo 4 segment on tonight's Conan show on TBS at 10 central.

Really hoping this isn't a crapshoot...
I can't wait, Halo is hands down the best shooter franchise I've played just because of it's originality alone. I mean these guys have created a whole universe full of different planets and races and waring factions and even it's own sort mythology it's pretty crazy stuff when you stop and think about it and i can't wait for halo 4 to pick up right were halo 3 left off; blowing my mind away with awesome game play,great graphics and originality.
