The lights are on
Apple could be creating its own game console for this year if a recent rumor is correct.
Website cultofmac.com says that its sources say that Apple plans to release its own TV set in 2012 with "an iTunes-integrated touchscreen remote and Siri-like voice command technology." This TV will also come with a video-game console whose interface relies on touch and Kinect-like motion controls.
Whether this has anything to do with Apple CEO Tim Cook's recent visit to Valve, Steam on this Apple console, or if it's related to Valve's own console dreams is unknown.

If it's called the iPlay or iGame, I'm punching kittens.
It would be cool to see how they do but I think ill stick with nintendo microsoft or sony
Screw all you guys, I would buy this in a heart beat. Apple might be overpriced computer wise, but it still has high quality products, and with Valve on board it would be awesome.
Can't wait to see what they've got planned.
Yeah right - and pigs'll fly out of my @$$ (or EA will quit making sports games - both are just as likely.) Listen Apple, just make more ports for the Macbook and I'll be happy.
Yeah, the iPippin!
