Mama mia!

This isn't new. Isn't this the one they showed with Mii characters as playable last year? I'm more interested on Nintendo fixing up Princess Peach's skirt animation (a behind-the-scene problem on the Wii game of 2009), or if they're planning on giving her special levels... or a more decent game at least than SPP.

Nintendo could have the best press conference. I want to see more of the Wii U and hopefully see some awesome 3DS games.

I'm getting the Wii U cuz its gonna be beast.

NO WAY! Another Mario game!?!? This is HUGE news. I can't beleive it! After all these years a NEW Mario game. Im gonna be first in line!!! It's like a dream come true, like i am 11 years old again....wait, my friend just told me there has been 243 sequels since Super Mario Bros. Damn. I feel stupid.

screw Mario, give us that Zelda game they have been showing for the last 2 years.... I wanna see blood drip from the sword of Link.....

I believe that Nintendo needs to secure 3rd. party support and do whatever it takes to keep current titles on it's new console. I do not believe in this market that the Wii U will sell like the Wii did. I hope they have learned from their mistakes in the past 10-15yrs. They made lots and lots of money on the Wii console. But I really don't think that people will fall for that again. Hopefully they can sway me back into the fold, only time will tell. It's a real shame that the original company that brought us the console for the masses, and filled up a large part of my childhood, has disappointed me for so long. Most Nintendo made games are great, but you can't have Mario, Zelda, and Metroid sell your console. It needs to be able to play 3rd. party games for the life of the console, not just the first year.

This could very well may be that Super Mario Bros 4 thing we heard a little while back.

Nintendo needs to stop relying on first party software. im getting tired of games on their consoles made by them. i want some good 3rd party software. that was what made me stop playing the WII.

I can't stand the look or the controls of the WiiU so far.  But I'm so looking forward to how Mario and Link look in HD!!!

Good to see Nintendo is getting there ducks in a row for the Wii U. Having A SMB title off the bat is essential for them if they wanna make waves. Can't wait to see, that plumber rarely disappoints. :)

I don't want more mario. Unless it's a new mario kart or...the best thing that could ever happen ever...a sequel to Mario Strikers Charged :D

lol that Miyamoto, always saying stuff he's not suppose to. My guess is that the tech demo NSMB Mii has become a full game.

A proper Mario game will always get me excited because they know how to use the system it's on very well. I can't wait to see what the Wii U's (if it's even called that anymore) Mario Galaxy is.

I think Nintendo should make a 3D game but in the universe as Super Mario 2 and it would be sweet to be able to play as Toad again.  Along w/ Princess Peach and The Mario Bros.  It doesn't even have to be in the same dream world as the 2nd game.  They just need to make a game where you can select those 4 not the blue and yellow toad the REAL toad.  Heck I'd like to play a game where Toad actually saves the day.  Or Toad and Mario team up.  Or even Mario and Peach.  If anyone ever watched the cartoon series she wasn't some wimpy Princess.  She actually fought and saved Mario and Luigi numerous times.  It's about time to give the Princess a back bone and show her true side not the wimpy damsel in distress.
