New Kickstarter Campaign Raises Funds To Create Mario Level Out Of LEGOs

by Andrew Reiner on Apr 16, 2012 at 04:13 PM

Zachary Pollock needs your help. He's a LEGO builder who has been inspired to recreate Super Mario Bros. first level entirely out of bricks. To complete this task he will need $26,400 to purchase 780,000 LEGO studs. He's using one LEGO brick per pixel. When the model is finished, it will be six feet tall and 90 feet wide.

Zachary hopes to display his creation at this year's BrickCon Expo in Seattle, and also other conventions like Penny Arcade and San Diego Comic Con. For more details and a chance to help Zarchary piece this model together, check the Kickstarter site. With 23 days remaining, it's brought in $1,717 from 49 backers.
