The lights are on
Dragon shouts are about to get more shouty, thanks to a free update to the Xbox 360 version of the Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. The download, set to release this month, will add Kinect support with more than 200 voice commands.
The video below breaks down just some of the new functionality, which goes far beyond merely aping your character's special dragon shouts. Players can use their voice to access quick saves, direct their allies in combat, sort through their inventories, and much more. Bethesda hinted that Kinect support was a possibility a few months back.
All right, Bethesda. You can scratch this one off our wish list. Now get to work addressing the rest of our DLC whims already!

This IS the way to use Kinect. This is exactly what I've been waiting for, and I'm glad that Bethesda was the one to pull it off first.
As a PS3 user, I have to say that not having this function is lame on Sony's part. This looks so freaking sweet.
Congratulations my Xbox brothers (and sister), you have the greatest gaming experience ever. I wonder what that patch will screw up though.
Enough about this, where is my new content? That is all my PS3 wants, more reason to play Skyrim!
Kinect Integration in Skyrim is amazing! To bad I don't own Skyrim for Xbox 360. I'm guessing Bethesda may do a update for PS3 owners to integrate Playstation Move but I highly doubt this.
Wow,this looks awesome.Almost makes it worth buying Kinect. In fact i may buy kinect just for this.
I will now get a kinect.
OH MY GOODNESS THIS IS AMAZING!
Wow, this came out literally right after gameinformer posted its list of DLC requests.
Whelp, I left my Kinnect with my brothers and sisters when I moved out. I am going to have to liberate it back into my possession :)
What about for all us assholes that bought it for PC for the creation kit? There's one mod out right now that isn't in the steam workshop for this & the instructions are too difficult to understand. I have no idea who would be running this operation for the MicroSteam Skyrim *** but I feel like I just got MacroScammed!
Not a prank? I thought Trueachievements were pranking me.
Kinda lame. But whatever.
it would be awesome if this helped with speech skills because atleast for me it's hard to increase.
I can just imagine screwing up my friends gaming experience by shouting at inappropriate times. Suckers!
I think my family is going to get very familiar with the Dragon language soon.
FUS RO DAH!
