Update: EA provided Game Informer with the following statement: "The best kept secret in shooters just can't be contained. Stay tuned for more information on April 16."

A purported product page and banner for Crysis 3 appeared on EA's digital store Origin earlier today before being taken down by the publisher.

The images surfaced first on NeoGAF. The product page contained no actual information about the game, other than a new look at our hero, Alcatraz, holding a bow and arrow (see above).

EA has not officially announced Crysis 3 yet, though this purported evidence suggests we may hear something very soon.

Game Informer has contacted EA for comment.

i cant wait, i mean i am a big fan of the crysis games, especially the first 2 (i finished those on every dificulty)

I never realized it until now, but I think Crysis - as a property - is way up there in my list of favorites. Proven to be technically impressive, tight and responsive... mhm mhm. *eyes suddenly bulge* WANT CRYSIS 3! DX11 NATIVE PLZ!

Definitely stoked if this game is coming out soon. That said, lose the bow and give him a .50 cal. 'Nuff said.
