PSone's The Legend Of Dragoon Coming To PSN

Sony originally released The Legend of Dragoon in 2000, and its four discs kept RPG fans busy for dozens of hours. The ambitious title was originally deemed too difficult for US gamers, so a re-balanced version was the one that made it Stateside. That version of the game will soon be available on the Playstation Network.

If you're looking to relive your PSone RPG memories, you can download it on May 1st.

  • classic RPG, still got it too. HaHa:p

  • One of the few times I wish I had a PS3, or my old PS1 since I still have this game in my closet lol.

  • This game is overrated. Ever notice how most people who played it never finished it? That's because it was boring. It had some good character design and a battle system that was fun for a few fights but ultimately really shallow.
  • FINNNALYYYYY!!! ive been whining about this for years! >.<

  • If they would just add PSone support to the Vita I would def pick this up.

  • It's about time Sony added Legend Of Dragoon to the Playstation Store! I've been waiting to finish Legend Of Dragoon for years and now I have my chance. On a side note, whoever made Legend Of Dragoon should totally do a sequel or a remake of the original game.

  • Might have to give this one a go... I love JRPG's, esp from that time period and I never got to this

  • I love this game! I can't wait to play it again.

  • Finally!!! Now if only Sony will finally give us a sequel to this game as well.  One of the best RPG's to be released for the PSOne.

  • I loved this game :D Too bad I don't have a ps3.

  • Oh man, thats awesome!

  • Sweet! I recently got a nice amount of cash for my PS1 original, and had hoped it would come to PSN soon...

  • im deff going to download this

  • YES! YES! FINALLY!

AND YES I'M SCREAMING! THIS IS MY FAVORITE GAME OF ALL TIME! I'LL HAVE THIS GAME ON BOTH MY PS3 AND PSP! (Got regular and GH disc version too but either missing or damaged disc 2)

On a calmer note, I didn't know the US got an easier version... No wonder I though the game was easy (I mean defeating Faust with Kongol on your team not dying proves it's not that hard).

Also which version is this? Black label or GH?
  • looking foward to this game, but how much will it cost?

  • This could very well be the first time I download a PSone era title from PSN...  loved that timing based attack system.

  • That's great seeing as I never played it back when it first came out. I'll get it eventually.

  • I still have my PSone copy of this. Seriously, if anyone's missed this game, something is wrong with them. This is such a great game and I may have to fire it up again.

  • Finally

  • YES YES YES YES The most underrated game ever and one of my top ten games of all time I'm in love with The Legend of Dragoon
