Sony originally released The Legend of Dragoon in 2000, and its four discs kept RPG fans busy for dozens of hours. The ambitious title was originally deemed too difficult for US gamers, so a re-balanced version was the one that made it Stateside. That version of the game will soon be available on the Playstation Network.

Nice! I still have my disc copy (one of the very few PS1 games I still have) so I won't be buying it again. But I'm glad a lot more people will be able to experience this amazing game.

I just read that there was going to be a sequel for this game, but was cancelled for some unknown reason. I'll have to check this one out for sure.
Very nice. I don't even have PSN, but am happy for all of you that do. LoD is an amazing game; so much so, that I burned all 4 discs from my own copy and compressed them into a working EBOOT to play on my PSP.
It's also where I picked up my screen name.
This game one of my favorite ps games. Im not sure why they never made another one. I wish we had the more difficult version.

So many good memories with this game. If they announced a sequel or a HD remake, I would purchase a PS3. Even though I'm thinking about it already. Glad to see this game getting attention again.
