The lights are on
Dragon Ball Z is coming to the Kinect with the very creative title, Dragon Ball Z for Kinect.
The game will feature over 100 moves from the show, never before seen in the US footage from the show, and over 50 playable characters including an entirely new one. the game will also feature QR code scanning functionality that players can use to unlock additional characters and power-ups in the game. The game will be played from the first-person perspective, which is a first for a Dragon Ball video game.
Please note that the image above is not from the game. We haven't had a chance to see what the game will look like yet, but I imagine it won't be too far removed from what you see above.
The game will be available for Xbox 360 this October.
I know at least one person who is definitely excited about this news.

Someone is going to blast a tv down with a kamhamha
since im a big DBZ fan im porbly gonna buy a kinect just for this I wanna a super sayian... :)
I had a blast with the old Budokai games on the PS2 but DBZ for the Kinect.........not at all excited
I doubt it will look anything like that if its played in first person.
A few things worry me about this game. One thing is that it will be Kinect. Even though I have one, I don't see Dragonball Z being very good on it. Two is that they are adding a whole new character. By that I assume they mean a character never before seen in the Manga, cartoon, or movies. I don't like the sound of that. And the last thing is the first person perspective. Not a big fan of how that might turn out either.
Hahahaha great post for April Fools Day. Oh wait, its April 11th. Dear god...
But seriously this cant end well. The recent DBZ games have been hard to control with controllers so this is gonna be scary.
This series of games does not strike me as one that should be played in first person.
Yet another flop of a Dragonball Z game for this current console generation. Great.....
