Update: EA provided Game Informer with the following statement: "The best kept secret in shooters just can't be contained. Stay tuned for more information on April 16."

A purported product page and banner for Crysis 3 appeared on EA's digital store Origin earlier today before being taken down by the publisher.

The images surfaced first on NeoGAF. The product page contained no actual information about the game, other than a new look at our hero, Alcatraz, holding a bow and arrow (see above).

EA has not officially announced Crysis 3 yet, though this purported evidence suggests we may hear something very soon.

Game Informer has contacted EA for comment.

I dont know how or why they continue to do this series as seeing how many people still play Crysis its sad that they still continue a series that is dead before it started. That being said I cant wait to see how it will play out with that sweet ass crossbow<3

Well hopefully Crysis 3 isn't an console port this time around, and actually has stable multi-player, then they might just have a buyer.

I really hope it comes out for the wii u! That way, Crytek can take advantage of the touch controller and allow the nanosuit to have more features! Ow, and the bow isnt an ordinary bow, it is a nano bow, with heat sinking arrows that paralysis thier victims and can detonate if the user chooses too.

Crysis 2 was a welcomed addition to the crowded FPS market. It was a lot of fun, and the Multiplayer wasn't too bad, except for the fact that if you weren't within a couple weeks of a map pack or some such thing it was hard to even find a game. I'm definitely onboard for a Crysis 3.

I just hope the multiplayer is nothing like Crysis 2. And I wouldn't be surprised if it had a linear campaign like Crysis 2 did.

I loved crysis 2!!!!! It was far better than anyother shooter that has came out in my opinion. I was very disapointed that people did not really catch on to it. I can not wait for part 3 to come out if I could pre order it already I would!! Hope you guys give it a try.
