Update: EA provided Game Informer with the following statement: "The best kept secret in shooters just can't be contained. Stay tuned for more information on April 16."

A purported product page and banner for Crysis 3 appeared on EA's digital store Origin earlier today before being taken down by the publisher.

The images surfaced first on NeoGAF. The product page contained no actual information about the game, other than a new look at our hero, Alcatraz, holding a bow and arrow (see above).

EA has not officially announced Crysis 3 yet, though this purported evidence suggests we may hear something very soon.

Game Informer has contacted EA for comment.

I swear, these "leaks" / "leaked images" are done for this exact reason. How in this day and age to you "accidentally" put up web pages for unreleased games? Or titles, or links... it's just a stupid game. In say that, cool, hope it turns out to be cool game :)

Judging by the background, it looks like it will be set in another urban landscape. Hopefully, we'll get to see a more devastating side of the war this time.

Played Crysis 2. The game was ok, for others it's great, but it didn't impress me much. We'll see about Crysis 3.

i just hope it's pc exclusive at least at first again to really push PCs to the max, don't try to cater to outdated consoles first and just port to PCs like all other games are doing now

The second Crysis had one of my favorite Shooter campaigns of all time. I am really pumped.

i bought the second one and played for about 5 hours and it's been sitting on my shelf ever since. There is a learning curve compared to other fps. The game is graphically fantastic though
