Kinect Star Wars Tops UK Charts

Don't act surprised. You knew Kinect Star Wars was going to sell. The game topped the UK charts last week, marking the first time a Kinect game has reached the number one slot.

Electronic Arts nabbed the next four slots with FIFA Street, Mass Effect, FIFA 12, and Tiger Woods PGA Tour 13. Modern Warfare 3 landed in the number six slot followed by SSX, Mario & Sonic: London 2012 Olympic Games, Battlefield 3, and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim rounding out the top 10.

This is honestly surprising, I did not expect there to be enough Kinects out there for this to get so much traction. The attachment rate between this and Kinect must be insanely high.

I'm excited for next gen motion controls. We need faster systems for less LAG.

It kills gaming accuracy and doesn't quite compare to buttons just yet.

It is kind of obvious that it is selling well when considering the facts that there aren't many Kinect games and it is Star Wars (you get to act like a jedi!). I wish that Kinect was a separate "console" so I could buy it. The Kinect is fun and Kinect Star Wars looks like a great game. Also, I was surprised that Kid Icarus: Uprising didn't make it into the top 10.
