The first of what will likely be many content updates to Mass Effect 3's multiplayer is out right now and it's free.
The Resurgence Pack adds new items, weapons, and characters to the randomized packs you can purchase, but it also adds two new levels. Here's the original announcement for the DLC, with more details about exactly what is new.
The pack is available right now for for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.

Dam, I can't get none of the characters. Did anyone obtain a character by getting the spectre pack?
For the first time i was able to access this early. but of course microsoft took it down fast.
would rather i nice DLC or somethng for single player ya know?

It's not available in New Zealand (and probably Australia) on the Playstation network. I've tried Playstation, they say call EA. I call EA (AUS) and they didn't even know it had been released in the USA. Does anyone have any idea when it will hit the PSN network in NZ?
I played all night, and only saw one map, didn't get any characters and just the stupid geth smg. Fail
ME3's multiplayer is a lot of fun and done well. If only they cared about the 1st person experience as much and didn't ruin the ending.
Multiplayer was/is a blast. I'm back to playing Skyrim though, mourning the March debacle that was ME3. Not a bad way to mourn actually.
I wonder what GI's take will be on the news that the Better Business Bureau thinks ME3 was falsely advertised?
There is also a great article where Mike Gamble claims that the ending was so abrupt, with respect to your entire crew, the races you worked with, the races stuck in Sol etc., that it wasn't there because "We didn't think people wanted to see it."
There is no denying that the entire ME3 crew thought this ending would be both acceptable and probably patted themselves on the back thinking it's be heralded, how pretentuous can you get.
Free DLC is good. Multiplayer was done well and is very enjoyable. They put nice customization options in there as well.
Ok, i DLd the pack, even though i havent touched multiplayer yet. But where the hell is the face import patch? It was supposed to come out yesterday too.

Too bad they won't pony up and offer the day one DLC for free, which was on the disk anyway...and should have been included in the original game.
