EA Unveiling NFL 2012 Draftees In Madden Ultimate Team 12

by Matthew Kato on Apr 10, 2012 at 10:53 AM

EA Sports and EA Tiburon are letting fans play with highly touted NFL Draft prospects like Andrew Luck and Robert Griffin III in Madden NFL 12 via the game's Ultimate Team mode.

The developer is releasing 30 rookie cards and six superstar cards starting on draft night, April 26, as the picks happen. You can then use these in Madden NFL 12 and carry them over into the Ultimate Team feature in Madden NFL 13 when it comes out in the fall. The 30 rookie cards have lower ratings than the six superstar ones, of course, but big draft day names like Stanford quarterback Andrew Luck, for instance, will likely have a regular rookie card as well as a superstar one.

Moreover, the rookie cards are tweaked when you import them in Madden NFL 13 and dynamically updated throughout the real-life NFL season.
