The lights are on
Nielsen has ranked the games that gamers are most excited about this year, and the results aren't surprising.
In the lead for Xbox 360 is Halo 4. On the PlayStation 3, Assassin's creed III. On the Wii, people are excited about Madden 2013. Surprisingly low on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3's lists, is BioShock Infinite falling tenth and ninth respectively. What's really interesting about these lists, is seeing which games are creating more excitement on which consoles. For example, PlayStation 3 gamers are looking forward to Prototype 2, which is number seven on the list, but on Xbox 360 it doesn't even show up in the top 11.

Madden 2013?? O.o havent heard about it...
As soon as that article said Wii gamers are looking forward to Madden 2013, I knew immediately that this was ranked very poorly. I love the Wii and get games for it. Lemme tell you something... We Wii gamers don't care about Madden 2013, Nielson!!!
madden ncaa and nba are always there each year so you can drop those. star wars was just a fail. medal of honor, really? is tomb raider coming out this year? I hope the last of us comes out this year but im sure they will do a great job on it. but come on prototype 2 isnt on xbox list? It's going to be a great game.
I can't believe no one cares about Dark Siders 2. I fully expected that to be on the list. Dragons Dogma is also showing alot of promise. =/
Why aren't more people excited for SC2HOS can on people
I'm upset to not see Bioshock Infinite further up on the list, and I also think that Fable: The Journey is too high up on the list as well.
I have to say, it's very interesting to see what gamers are excited about on different consoles.
Why is Borderlands 2 on neither of these list? Well, when you see Madden near the top 5, you know its a bunch of casuals voting, so imo these charts mean nothing.
Only games I'm looking forward too for PS3 is AC3 & The Last of Us. I'll probably catch up on the other games at christmas or in early 2013.
How the heck is Borderlands 2 not up there?
