This makes sense. It's unlike Rockstar to release a trailer of the game 18 months before a release date (May 2013). October 2012 or November 2012 sounds realistic but could be delayed to next April as did GTA 4 was. Im expecting a release date announcement near the end of August 2012.

If true, Rockstar shall have my money in October.

With the prestige of Cartoon Network Racing, Pimp My Ride and Big Mutha Truckers2, it's no wonder he landed a gig at Rockstar - and subsequently moved on, the even bigger and better things, surely x.x

I don't buy it. Why would 2K release this in the same month as Bioshock Infinite? Not to mention they also have Max Payne 3 and Spec Ops coming out this year. They have to save something big for 2013.

I don't believe it until I see more proof. RockStar has been known for this. They set a date and when the date comes around. They push it back as they are not ready.

After all we haven't heard enough about the game yet to full know it is truly coming out in October. Maybe in E3 they will tell us but even then highly doubt it until then.

They always do May releases. It is their thing. GTA IV was almost a May release, RDR, LA Noire, Rockstar Table Tenner, and Max Payne 3 are all May releases. It will be next May.

I can't get my hopes too high, s I only expect this in 2013, but if it is quality ready to ship in October, I would be a very happy panda.

This  doesn't seem likely. Publisher are business(money) oriented, consumers will always come second.  The smart business move would be to ride Max Payne till the end of the year, then release GTA early next year. Otherwise, 2013 will be a bad year financially. Unless they have an ace up they're sleeve but that seems unlikely. The only other game they've announced is agent and I just don't see that game coming out within the next year and a half. GTA will more than likely have an original release date of march-may 2013, then will be delayed till later that year.

Cant wait to see what its like online ill be buying this game for sure. Bigtime gta fan 4 Life!
