Welcome to Game Informer's newest video show! In Test Chamber, the Game Informer crew takes a look at the biggest releases each week.

In this episode, Game Informer's video producer Ben Hanson joins me for a look at Monolith Soft's Xenoblade Chronicles. This look dives deep into the combat system and overworld, and also gives us a somewhat startling look at how Ben dresses his video game characters. Ben also recorded the first 15 minutes of the game for your viewing pleasure. Great idea, Reiner! Sad to see the end of Reiner and Phil, but Test Chamber looks like a promising spiritual successor. Keep up the good work, guys!

Been playing picked it up about 2 hours ago and have about a hour and 15 minutes logged in. Last Story has like a high 80 i think on metacritic this has like a mid 90

I hope it's not too MMO-y. I got bored really quickly with FFXII just because of how much effort it took to accomplish anything and how slow progression was (in addition to fretting over each character's gambits/rule-sets), but I really like how forgiving the fail state is. Nothing is worse than losing a few hours of progress due to an uncalled for intrusion of an enemy whose level is three times my own. I forget to save a lot.

I wish people weren't so put off by a british accent in voice over. Don't understand why it always has to be an american voice over artist - Reiner reacting with a 'urgh' to the news is a wee bit rude, no? Anyway, great video and a good replacement - keep up the grand work!

While I loved FFX, I don't know if I like JRPGs anymore. I liked the video and the conversation but the game didn't really appeal to me.
