Persona 3 FES Coming To PSN

Atlus' memorable PlayStation 2 RPG Persona 3 FES will be available to download this coming Tuesday in North America.

A representative confirmed to Game Informer this is not a HD Remaster, but instead a direct port of the original game. This version contains the extra epilogue entitled "The Answer."

It will cost $9.99. No word yet on if the game will be released outside of North America.

  • Interesting I've heard good things about the Persona series, and Playstation is spelled wrong in the first paragraph, just sayin.
  • Well, never played any Persona game, guess i'll start here.
  • I can't wait, Persona is the series that endeared me to Atlus.

  • I've been looking around game shops and the game is still going for $40, so this is just amazing! I love this game! ^_^
  • sick ill. i should pop in my copy and finish my 2nd play through.

  • Don't know how good the series is. Played may be five minutes of the original and that's it. Haven't heard too much about it, so I guess its not all that great.
  • This and skullgirls next week. how can things get any better.

  • This is fantastic news. Persona 3 is easily one of the best games I've ever played in my life, and I've been gaming since the SNES days.  Those who haven't played this yet needs to drop whatever they are doing and buy this game immediately!  Well, as soon as it comes out anyway.  On a side note, picking up the PSP version (also available on the Vita) is worth your time as well.  The female protagonist gives the game enough freshness to make it worthwhile. New social links, new music, and a revamped battle system that plays identically to Persona 4 (also an amazing game).

  • They should have included all the stuff from the PSP version

but whatevs, still looking forward to it

  • OMG! Xenoblade: Chronicles, Chrono Trigger (Sue me, I never played it.), Silent Hill Collection, and now this! I mean seriously, is the video game industry trying to coerce me into having no life by dedicating it solely to JRPGs? This is awesome!
  • After the letdown news that was ME3: Extended Cut, this news is a shining star of awesome and totally made my day! Now if we can just get Persona 4 up on PS2 Classics, I couldn't ask for more then that!
  • Every publisher needs to back up a dump truck to PSN and unload their entire catalogs and start selling them ASAP. No HD remaster or trophy support needed. Those games hold up great as is.
  • Never played a Persona game, but I did enjoy the Persona 4 anime, certainly made me interested in the series.
  • So excited for this! Lost my copy years ago :( Been playing a lot of p4, so I've been wanting to get this game again. And $9.99? Sold.
  • I started with Persona 3 Portable on the PSP, and even though it was great, I was disappointed that it didn't include the epilogue.  I guess I should try the FES version.  $10 is not a bad price.

  • It's a good game. I have it on PS2, but never even finished one playthrough. There is so much to do and such limited time to do it all in, and I always get distracted. Then I reach the next boss fight at some pathetically low level and get party wiped...

  • Cool. If it comes to NA, I should buy it. Can't find a physical copy.
  • Sweet Jesus!!! This and Persona 4 are two games I absolutely hated having to get rid of when my 60GB PS3 went to crap and I wasn't about to buy a PS2 for a couple of games. I'm now very very happy. Now maybe we can get that FFX re-master soon.
