The lights are on
The open-world samurai game is coming exclusively to PlayStation 3 in North America courtesy of publisher Xseed. This is good news for fans, considering that the localization and release of the series' latest entry was up in the air.
According to an entry on the PlayStation blog, the sandbox-style game puts players in control of a samurai in Japan just as the country is seeing an influx of foreigners. However, according to the post, the game is "nearly surrealistic" and features "wildly anachronistic gear," so don't expect the story to be too gritty or serious.
No price or release date has been revealed, but the site promises more info "soon."

no nuts lol
wish they were bringing ragnarok odyssey here...
I'm a huge fan of these games, at the same time they are sub par games and really just fall short of greatness. If this company put the resources, time and planning to make a full blown GTA style open world Samurai game.... Don't get me wrong, I enjoy games that don't take themselves seriously but I wish this was one that did.
With all these PS3 exclusives lately i cant remember what the 360 is for =P
this looks really stupid
awesome. i'm a fan of the series since the latest entry so i will be picking this up when it comes out.
Way of the Samurai 4: Flashy Eunuch's Revenge?
I never played any of the Way Of The Samurai titles but I may check out this one if it gets good reviews.
