To be honest, as much fun as I had with Battlefront back in the day I really don't think it would hold up now. Also, I would like some Star Wars themed DLC for BF3. That might actually be awesome.

Even as a crappy Alpha build, I still want this. Surely, some company out there is making this game come true.

Kato you clever devil. The gameplay looks identical to BF 3. I can't believe this game was canned because the game was LIGHTYEARS (pun) ahead of its time. The seamless transition from dogfighting in the air to on foot fights was 3 years early.

This should have been released to influence other developers to work harder in terms of gameplay.

I am convinced that the reason that this game isn't out yet is because they are desperately afraid of making literally tons of money.

Typo in the title, its BattleFRONT 3, not BattleFIELD 3. But this looks cool! I hope the game eventually gets made...

Who wouldnt take on this game they could make alot of money. Theres alot of battlefront fans out there

I'm still waiting for this game to released. There is so much that could be done with it, for fans and newcomers alike. This just needs to be handed over to someone who can give the Jedi the power that was felt in the Force Unleashed and someone who can realize that the campaign doesn't need to be a replay of all the battles we've seen in the movies. I could honestly see a Mass Effect type of campaign; traveling the galaxy and saving it from a threat. Star Was has the backstory, locations, and characters for a huge story. That combined with a meaningful multilayer (maybe even first person) and the classic instant action and you've got yourself a game.

I used to play Battlefront II all the time at my friend's house back in the day, and I remember it was tons of fun. I'm hoping a Battlefront III will come out one day.

At least since it didn't come out then we can expect better visuals if it's not all the way dead
