The lights are on
[Update] Capybara Games has confirmed a PC and Mac release of the game. The developer notes it'll be playable at PAX East this week. It's arriving April 16 on PC and "before the summer solstice" for Mac. Price was not made available.
This edition is intended to be a faithful representation of the original S:S&S EP experience. It has been minorly adapted to better suit player input via the two-button mouse, and some audiovisual elements have been subtly refined as appropriate by Capy, Jim Guthrie & Superbrothers Inc to better suit the electric computer platform.
The retro-style iOS adventure title Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery EP may soon be coming to Steam.
A recent Steam registration was discovered by Indiegamemag.com, which means the game could be out as soon as next week. The website notes that registrations such as this have been accurate in the past. So far, an official announcement has not been made.
Game Informer has contacted developer Capybara Games for comment.
This is great news, I've been wanting to give this game a go.
Yes! I'm so happy that more people may be able to play this game!
cool, one more creative finds on the iOS store
i hope Gabe and Steam/Valve keep working hard to stay current with their catalog offerings. been an active subscriber since day 1 back in the day, was seriously disappointed when ME3 and BF3 got pulled from store...let's hope they can stay competitive with EA hot on their heels and more soon to follow.

man this was a great game, glad its coming to steam
This is one of those games that I've almost dropped money on an ipad just to play.
Wonder how much it will cost?
I loved this game
man! can't wait. one of the main reasons i ever wanted an iPad: still don't have one, probably won't for a LONG time. i got my friend's mom to buy this and only saw the first 10 minutes of it. arg! yeah, can't wait.
This game is AMAZING. I'm so happy people without an iDevice will be able to enjoy this greatness. I might buy it on PC just to hear the soundtrack again.
That's pretty cool.
This game, along with the iOS version of Super Meat Boy, may be the incentive I need for me to pick up an iPod.
Hmmm might be cool to check it out on iOS
