Devil May Cry HD Collection Street Date Lifted

Have you been waiting patiently for April 3 to pick up the Devil May Cry HD Collection? Well don't! It's actually on sale right now.

Retailers confirmed to Game Informer the street date for the game has been lifted early in North America and it's been on sale since Wednesday of this week. It costs $39.99.

Capcom issued the following statement to Game Informer:

Capcom has approved the advanced release of Devil May Cry HD Collection. This title was offered at retail ahead of its previously scheduled April 3rd release date, so consumers can now enjoy this great collection one week earlier than expected.

    People actually still FIRST on the comments? That's just sad and depressing to behold. Anyway, that's great news, that the HD collection is already out. Might just pick it up next week.

    It's too bad they don't make games like these anymore... Now we have Ninja Gaiden with QTEs and Dante with makeup...

    Yea I was in Gamestop last night and picked it up just thought it was a mistake, so i had to get it.

    EDIT: also what is everyone talking about in the comments this is Devil may Cry 1,2,3 in a HD collection, not a new one or anything of that sort.

    I think with the new Dante they were going for a David Bowie look. At least I hope so from the way he turned out

    I wish I could buy this for the PC. DmC4 was one of the best games I've ever played. I'm a PC gamer and I'm not interested in buying a console. Maybe after a year or two when it has sold enough on the consoles they may consider a port? My DmC4 copy feels so alone on the shelf :)

    Haha that's hilarious. I would love if they released a game like Mass Effect 3 a week earlier and don't advertise it at all just to see the chaos when someone finds it.
