The lights are on
Infinity Ward creative strategist Robert Bowling, better known as fourzerotwo, resigned from Activision today. He made the announcement over Twitter.
"Today, I resign from my position as Creative Strategist of Call of Duty, as a lead of Infinity Ward, and as an employee of Activision," he said.
A reason for why he left the company was not provided at this time. Activision said in a statement released to Game Informer, “We sincerely thank Robert for his many years of service. He’s been a trusted and valued member of the Infinity Ward team. We wish him all the best on his decision to pursue future opportunities.”
Game Informer followed up with Bowling for additional comments.
He probably got noob tubed in split-screen match by Bobby Kotick.
What's the future going to look like for COD now?
Maybe it's because he wants a different title
Bummer!!! :(
Once IW is phased out Treyarch will continue the series.
Maybe he wanted to work on something with new content versus the same old CoD?
Infinity Ward and Activision does not match.
Good, he can now devote himself to do something new and unique. CoD has been dead for 3 years, glad he finally realized it.
As much as I wanted to criticizes him for being a liar over his past couple of games, I really do know he was probably the main reason we got so many patches on MW3 and different playlists. I respect him in the end and hope he does well in the future.
What's with this company and its employees? Are they as bad as Borders Books store chain?
Why would anyone leave Infinity Ward? I wish I could work there...
ABOUT F$%#@ING TIME... This Cod need something new... NOT NO PEER TO PEER HOST. People been talking about how gay it was on the first mw2 and on black-ops yet they still didn't give a ***.
and really??? new Perk's and kill spree. It starting to get stupid with all these copy and paste. well he made a smart move. If he release another carppy cod game some people would of look for him and play real COD on him. But look like he won't respawn.
I barely touched MW3 anymore. Too many RPGs this year to play.
no((((((
Well then.....good bye.
He was a tool anyway go back to the rock you came under from
I actually happened into a game with him the other night, on the same team and we went to town on the 6 unluckiest people I've ever seen. There were a lot of 5-25, 2-18 looking scores on that team and I could feel there poor hearts breaking. That said, it's always bad when infinity Ward or Activision loses talent. The more the good folk abandon ship, the harder it's gonna be for the follow up team to bring the series' iterations up to the standard people expect. Whatever that may be at this point.
WHOA, I'm pretty sad he left. I wish him the best in his career.
