There has been no shortage of news for Assassin’s Creed III today, but if you’re not tired of hearing about the game (and why should you?) then check out the UK versions of the game’s various collector’s editions. Ubisoft has no shortage of those either.

Assassin’s Creed III will come in a couple different flavors. Here’s a look at what you’ll find in each edition. It should be noted that these are the European editions, but Ubisoft will undoubtedly have something similarly awesome prepared for U.S. retail shops.

  • The single player mission the Lost Mayan Ruins in which Connor’s mission leads him in an old Mayan pyramid, full of mysteries and revelations. Players will be able to unlock Captain Kidd’s fabled cutlass, a deadly, brutal and beautiful piece of steel

The Join or Die Edition

The Special Edition (not pictured)

The Special Edition features a special packaging of the retail copy of the game and comes with an exclusive single player mission called A Dangerous Secret. During this mission players will fight against a secret that could jeopardize the funding of the revolution. In case of success, you’ll be rewarded with an exclusive weapon: a Flintlock Musket.

Which edition do you hope comes over to the States?

  • PLEASE COME TO THE U.S., PLEASE COME TO THE U.S.!!!!
  • Now i'm angry, Thanks GI..

  • These look awesome, hopefully their reasonably priced because I'm all over it
  • This is retarded. People will have to pay double the price in order to get the complete game and pirates get it all. It's not a price issue, I'm happy to pay money for the games I play but if pirates actually make me a better offer I'd be stupid to ignore it. Same goes for FC3, Ubisoft just doesn't get it.
  • if past AC collector's editions are any precedent, the freedom edition should be 100 bucks, and it doesn't make sense to commission a figurine/statue/whatever that is that includes the American flag and not release it in North America.

shut up and take my money Ubisoft.
  • "Similarly awesome prepared for US retail shops"? Like that Signature Edition for Revelations? US special editions better blow us away after giving the short end of the stick with Revelations.
  • if this comes out for the U.S. i am SO getting the freedom edition. i don't care how much this costs i'll pay ANY PRICE!

  • Wait, there are missions that come with these editions and that likely means there will be paid day-one DLC for those who didn't get the pricier editions. *sigh*
  • I think I might just get the game.  I got the CE for AC II but got the standard editions for Brotherhood and Revelations.

  • I like the Freedom Edition, but would like to learn about the Special Edition.

  • Freedom Edition. It still ticks me off that AC gets cooler editions in Europe. Even when the game takes place in America! really?!?

  • It better come here or Ill be pissed....
  • Two things: 1.) love how England gets these very American special editions for now. 2.) what if you already preordered the game?
  • I love that the sharpshooter is essentially the Man with No Name.

  • I want a combination of the Freedom and Join or Die editions.
  • Why are they announcing the AC3 CE's in UK? Isn't this game about how America destroyed the UK?

(Also, George Washington's Secret Journal sounds awesome. Its like that one diary you got with Halo: Reach CE)
  • Lets hope the freedom edition comes to the US. It sucked when the special edition for revalations was only in Europe.

  • This should be the US collectors edition!! Ubisoft if its not, make it happen! (or something better)

  • If I get the money for it somehow, I'll probably pick up the freedom edition
