Street Fighter X Tekken Producer Yoshinori Ono Hospitalized

Street Fighter X Tekken producer Yoshinori Ono (seen above, top left) recently collapsed after a a Street Fighter X Tekken event in Asia, and is currently hospitalized.

According to Capcom's Japanese blog, Ono should be okay as the issue that took to the hospital was not severe.

We were lucky enough to meet Ono recently and take him on in his own game. We're wishing him a speedy recovery here at Game Informer.

  • I hope he gets back on his feet soon.

  • Good luck on recovering!

  • Isn't this the second time this happens to him in recent times? I seem to recall the same thing happening to him not long ago. Or maybe I had a premonition.

  • That's terrible. Thank goodness he's okay. Hope he gets out of there and back into action soon. :)

  • Those of you saying he deserves it because of Capcom's DLC practices: A, kind of a d*ck move. And B, surely you realize that a game's producer is not the one who makes those kinds of decisions, right?
  • Get well man!

  • Get well soon dude!

  • May you get well soon Ono

  • so sad; get well soon :(

  • Glad to hear it's not serious, hope he gets better soon.

  • Okay, this may not be the time, but this reminds me of a Dave Cheppelle skit when the boy is sick in the hospital and Dave saves his life only to have a rematch in a video game they were playing.

But anyway, I hope Ono recovers, get well soon.

  • Yeah thats not cool. I like that guy's energy. Hope he gets better soon.

  • That sucks, he seems like a fun guy :/ Glad he should be better soon.

  • I think its probably dehydration, lack of sleep or not eating well. Which is due to all these events he's going to. Time to get some rest. Hope he feels better
