The lights are on
UPDATE: Dragon's Lair is coming to XBLA with Kinect support, and now there's a trailer to prove it.
It also has a release day of May 18, if the game's Xbox Live Arcade page is to be believed.
-------------------------
Yesterday, we reported that it looked as though Dragon's Lair was coming to Xbox Live Arcade. Now it's official. Players will be able to take control of hapless hero Dirk the Daring using Kinect, too.
According to Microsoft's Play XBLA blog, this is the first game on XBLA that will support both Kinect and controller-based inputs. Judging from the screen above, helpful icons will pop up when you need to react.
This is great news for fans of classic arcade games, or for folks who enjoy watching animated knights collapse into piles of bones over and over and over again.

Haha this is showing up on everything...
There's a problem with the co-op mode, specifically there is none. All I saw was a guy switching places with another guy. I call that taking turns, not playing co-op.
This is one of the few games I can sort of almost see working with wagglan controls.
Looks too cheep for me. . .
Ummmm....looking at this....fun back in the day....AWFUL now!
I don't think I've ever complete this game after all these years. I might have to give it a try now.
oh my god i HATE this game uniqueness doesnt get you anywhere
What the hell is this games allure? I rather play bebes kids. . .
people still WANT to play this?
Stop Kinect. Us gamers like to sit and enjoy our games for hours on end...
It's not a good sign when they get their 90s CG artist to put together the kinect examples of how you play. ReBoot-in-dark-ages-garb there sure looks like he's having a grand old time. They're going to toss this together in the coming month? Come on.
I think this is a product of one of those "Video Game College" scam houses that advertises in the magazine. This one was probably made in "Re-Selling Memories 202: Astron's Belt to Night Trap"
So many quarters gone to that nefarious game. I will have my revenge!
How interesting.
Cue the numerous, humorous death sequences.
Odd, I could have sworn I played the game on my friends Xbox360... Maybe it was PS3. I can't see this working for Kinect.
Don't have an Xbox, but this game is awesome.
