Rumor: Soul Reaver Reboot In Development
Crystal Dynamics is said to be working on a reboot of the classic platformer Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver.
According to a report from VG247, a source claims the game will be a complete reworking and feature new art direction. It was previously believed the game would be revealed at this coming E3, but this may not be the case anymore. It's not clear at this time whether or not Raziel will be the game's protagonist, either.
Crystal Dynamics is currently prepping the release of its Tomb Raider reboot for later this year. The studio is also working on a seprate download title for Xbox Live Arcade.
A Squre Enix representative told Game Informer the company has no comment on the report.
