The lights are on
If you've been coming to Game Informer for awhile, you're surely familiar with our weekly look back at gaming's past, thanks to our Replay show. While we love this trip down nostalgia lane, we figured we should also give you a look at a new release each week. After years of auditioning Dan on Replay without his knowledge, he at last joins me for this exciting new video series, The Extraordinary Misadventures of Reiner and Dan!
In our first episode, we take a look at Team Ninja's sequel Ninja Gaiden 3. Dan played the game for review and shares his insight from the perspective of someone who has beaten the game. Join us, and please leave a comment letting us know what you think of this never-before-seen format for game coverage.
Email the author Andrew Reiner, or follow on Twitter, Facebook, and Game Informer.
You could've picked a cooler new best friend, like Joe Juba or Jeff Cork. Dan is... well, he's Dan.
Reiner is on the search for his best friend. Phill was promising, but he betrayed Reiner. And now Dan isn't starting off well. I loved this btw.
Reiner's just trying to get Phil jealous. You know it, I know it.
Poor Phil... the bro throw torn apart by a Gamecube-generation Bond shooter. Oh the humanity.
There's always Dan!
Bro power shall persevere!
Down with Phil!!!! DAN FOR LIFE!!!!!
Reiner and Dan?
After I recovered from the shock this posts' title gave me, which took me about five minutes, I realized that the version of this show is gonna be lame in a few weeks.
Ha! Am I the only one who looked at the tags and read "reiner and dan, best friend"?
Its just not the same without Phil :(
You guys do uncomfortable really well :p
Love the music in the intro
YAY Reiner and Dan!!!
Tell the truth, Reiner. Dan killed Phil and absorbed his power.
Reiner makes me feel sad :(
...ha! Although, I think the Dark Souls video could qualify as the first Reiner and Dan...
lol. i never thought Reiner would actually get Dan in with him. Dan or all people
Awwww, Phil got dumped :P
The ending to this video was kinda sad. Poor Reiner. :(
