Dark Souls Announcement Planned

[Update]: It appears the announcement will be, at least, Dark Souls for PC. A tease in an upcoming issue of PC Powerplay, as seen on NeoGAF, simply says, "You Died," a phrase Dark Souls players know all too well.

Namco still has not confirmed details surrounding this announcement.

Namco Bandai says an announcement for Dark Souls is coming. Let's think about what this could be.

Two possibilities are the rumored download "Dark Forest" content or the much-desired PC version of the game. The official Facebook page is asking fans to "Like" the app in hopes to unlocking the announcement sooner rather than later.

Namco is scheduled to have a press event sometime in April, so we'll hopefully know more about the annoucement by then.

I would put my money on a PC port; if that does happen, I guarantee the first mod put out for it makes it have an easier difficulty setting.

I'm back playing this after months of playing Skyrim. The strange thing is that I've probably spent more time thinking about Dark souls. It gets into your head and lingers. Brilliant and effecting game. My hope is that don't waste time on a p.c port of the same game and just make something new. Not dlc. Not an expansion to something that was small, polished and lovely. Something new in that weird and wonderful universe.

I'm guessing either a sequel (Black Soooooouls) or a PC port. A super hyped announcement over normal DLC is kinda overdoing it.

i hope it's not a PC version just to stick it to my PC master race *** friend who has the PS3 collector's edition but hasn't played it at all because he's holding out to play it on the superior PC.

Though it would be awesome for pc fans to get a port of this game, I hope it's dlc or a full blown expansion pack. A countdown to a pc port would be really lame and a huge disappointment-at least for me.
