The Neo Geo Portable Is Real
Earlier this year it was reported a newly licensed Neo Geo handheld was coming to the market this year. Now it's been confirmed as a real thing.
Dubbed the "Neo Geo X," the portable is releasing worldwide in the second quarter of 2012 following the console's 20th anniversary. It comes packed with 20 officially licensed games, SD card expansion, a 3.5” LCD screen, A/V output, internal stereo speakers and a headphone socket.
It's being released by Tommo Inc and BLAZE, a company that specializes in creating retro game devices. Pricing details were not announced.
