The lights are on
Ubisoft confirmed the delay of Rayman Origins for Nintendo 3DS. The game will now ship in June 2012 worldwide.
The publisher confirmed the delay to Game Informer this afternoon. A reason for the delay was not provided at this time. The PC version releases digitally in North America on March 29, 2012.
Rayman Origins for 3DS was originally scheduled for release in March.

Luckily I just got it for Xbox.
I assume this means 3DS-exclusive features. Delays never disappoint me, except for when they are excruciating long like Gears of War 3. Actually, nevermind. It was an amazing game and I wouldn't have had truly cared if it only released last January.
Releasing the game on all these platforms practically guarantees it will find it's audience and make Ubi Soft some money.
Personally, this sounds like a perfect fit for the 3DS and PS Vita. Handheld games + sidescrollers = goodness. Will the 3DS version feature multiplayer though? Or will Ubi Soft wise up and remove that dumb sh** Globox from the game finally? Either way, the game would be improved.

I bet there is some sort of co-op being worked into the situation. I say this because Vita took a critical hit from their lack of co-op. I just wishing out loud. I own this for 360, and I consider it one of the bets games of 2011. I definitely want a handheld version of this game, and I haven't bought a Vita yet. By the time it drops for 3DS, I might have a Vita already. If that's the case than I'll buy it for Vita. If not, than it's 3DS all the way.

Well I would hope the delay is to make sure its a quality port.
Delay aside, I just cant stop thinking about the potential of this game in 3D, which is ironic to say the least, considering that it is a 2D game.

Why choose "the better screen", which u can replicate on a console version and opt for the 3d version, which no other available choice offers this exclusivity; 3D!

I have it for Vita....Simply awesome, lack on multiplayer sucks, but otherwise is a direct port of the game, graphics and all. Me and my girlfriend love playing this.
Might have to think about buying the game. Just need to think about the system for it, though.
Well I guess I only have to buy one 3DS game this month, I'm alright with that...
Got it on vita, love it. If you havent played it buy it.
