If this is true then Microsoft is really the dumb child of the gaming industry... Even though I hate Sony, I hope that they make Microsoft look stupid when they announce PS4 at E3... The XBOX 360 and PS3 are outdated, game developers are having to dumb down games due to crappy 7 year old hardware... thats why games like Mass Effect 3 look their predecessor Mass Effect 2. This generation of consoles is at the end of their run. PS. Microsoft now I hate you, Sony I still hate you

Really was hoping for some news, I love 360 but the graphics/processing/disc format is way outdated. Having to change discs a ton of times in Mass Effect 3 isn't any fun. Plus Microsoft hasn't really shown a good exclusive IP other than Halo 4 (should of been a release title for next gen) and imo that is not enough. If you aren't showing the next Xbox, better plan to show some new exclusives aside from Gunstringer 2. I predict this e3 will be terrible just like the last couple.

What can they possibly do? Last year was atrocious. This year the Wii U is launching.

they haven't had a good E3 since 360 was introduced. Here is the roundup...Halo 3! Gears! Halo ODST! Gears 2! Halo Reach! Gears 3! Halo 4! and some GTA mixed in for good measure. Most of the games they show are multi-platform releases...sooo FAIL.

Thank you Microsoft. Your system is fine and I've never found myself feeling that a single new game I've played lacked anything that could be attributed to the systems shortcomings. I realize PC's are miles ahead, but at the price, they better be. I for one would be severely upset if I paid all that money for a gaming setup in the PC realm and I ended up with console quality graphics, etc. But that doesn't mean that console graphics, or whatever it is that we judge these things on, is unacceptable and obsolete. I haven't had a single console related problem yet. If the graphics are lacking, it's the developers fault, not the system. I've seen some truly beautiful things on my 360. Is it the best there is? Of course not, it can always be better. Technology changes about as often as the clock does. There will be a new console eventually, but they don't need one right now.

Makes sense and I've been saying that I don't expect MS or Sony to put out a new console until at least 2013/2014. heck, maybe even 2015. They both said they could get 10 years out of these systems when they were announced, so maybe we'll actually get that.

Honestly, I don't care when a new console comes out, the current systems still have a lot of life left and for all we know MS and Sony might be waiting to see how the Wii U goes and if people are ready to buy a new console.

Anyone who's complaining about this either cares too much about graphics/power or has enough money to throw at something IMO. There's still plenty of amazing looking games on their way so I'm good with what I have now.

Thank you, honestly I'm not ready for a new console from either Sony or MS. I feel theres still alot that can be done with the 360 and PS3. Im not done with my PS3 just yet.

as a pc gamer, i give no s**ts about new consoles except when old *** hardware holds back pc development. like now. thank god for the clear disparity between the pc version and the 360 version of the witcher 2

I'm surprised anyone thought that we'd see something. We won't be seeing the next gen until 2014, at the earliest. Honestly, I have absolutely no interest in a new console generation anytime in the near future, or the price hikes that come with them.

At least we know they're working on one.

Allows me to focus on what the Wii U, or whatever it'll be called, has to offer.

I'm totally fine with not having a new xbox for a while.

Sony will have God of War 4, Last of US and other surprise goodies. Lets hope Microsoft can deliver

I'm glad Microsoft isn't revealing their next generation Xbox yet. I hope they don't reveal it in till at least 2014.

No new systems for at least 2 years please! I'm still getting great mileage out of my PS3/360.

It better not be announced anytime soon! There is still so must goodness to milk out of the console I got but 2 years ago. I hope that the 360 profiles are transferable to the next Xbox's network, and it probably will happen.
