38 Studios Brings On MMO Veterans

The company that brought you Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning (seen above) is staffing up in preparation for its unannounced MMO set in the same world.

John Blakely has joined as senior vice president of development at 38 Studios. He most recently worked at Zynga and before that was at Sony Online Entertainment overseeing the development of games like DC Universe Online and EverQuest II.

Mark Hansen will be the new senior vice president of operations and business. He came from Playwell Studios and worked on the LEGO Universe MMO.

It's good to see that things are rolling forward on the MMO and hopefully another single-player RPG over at 38 Studios.
