Crytek Teases April Console/PC Announcement

Lots of games get announced at E3 in June, but Far Cry developer Crysis says it's got a big game announcement in April.

Crytek's GM of games Nick Button-Brown told CVG that the project is separate from its mobile/free-to-play initiatives, Homefront 2, and Ryse, and that it's a triple-A project that's looking great. "It looks spectacular, the team are doing really, really well, and it's just really nice to see the team really enthusiastic about what they're doing. They're really happy."

It could be Crysis 3, but it's only been an year since they released it last year. Or it could be a new Timesplitters game. Either way, I'm intrigued, only because it's going to be running on CryEngine 3, and that along with Frostbite 2 are my favorite engines since they look so awesome on the PC with high settings.

I wanna see Crytek do something that isnt a FPS dont get me wrong i love FPS and Crytek is amazing at it but i think they are talented enough too try a different genre

EDIT: Didnt Crytek pick up Free Radical when it went under.......maybe Battlefront 3??? Or Timesplitters 4??? Its one of those two I think!!!!! OMGGGGGGGG
